West Bengal Public
Service Commission, (WBPSC) has given an employment notification for
the recruitment of Agricultural Marketing Officer (Administrative),
Assistant Manager, Advertising & Publication Assistant &
Research Assistant vacancies for various departments on temporary &
permanent basis. Eligible candidates can apply online from 24-10-2016
to 16-11-2016. Other details like age limit, educational

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Masters Degree/ Honours Degree in
Economics/ Statistics/ Commerce/ Agriculture from a recognised
University for Post 1, Degree in Agriculture with Botany/
Horticulture as one of the subjects for Post 2, Masters Degree in
Mass Communication/ Public Relations with at least 50% marks from any
UGC recognized University for post 3 & Master Degree in Social
Sciences with at least 50% marks from any UGC recognized University
for Post 4 with relevant experience.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should not be more than 32 years for Post 1, between
25 & 32 years years for Post 2 & not more than 37 years for
Post 3, 4 as on 01-01-2016. Upper age relaxation upto 5 years for S.C
& S.T candidates of West Bengal, upto 3 years for O.B.C-A &
O.B.C-B candidates of West Bengal & Other candidates is
applicable as per rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs160/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee
subject to a minimum of Rs 5/- for online through debit/ credit card
plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt Duty/ Service Charge of Rs. 5/-
for Net Banking/ Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only for payment by
challan through Bank counter at any branches of UBI (off-line
payment). No fee for S.C/ S.T candidates of West Bengal & Persons
with disabilities (PWD) candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on screening test &/ or interview
